Owners: Nick & Kasey Wierzba
Nick and Kasey are both native Michiganders who met in college while on the Michigan State Cycling Team. Their passion for riding bikes brought them together and they enjoy sharing it with others.
Nick's cycling experience goes way back to his teenage years, when he worked as a mechanic in a local bike shop in Lansing, Michigan. Since those early days Nick has remained an avid participant in cycling events while also growing his professional work within the cycling field. Such work has included helping shape policy with the League of Michigan Bicyclists and acting as general manager for Napa Valley Bike Tours.
Kasey's love of farming inspired a master's degree in viticulture from Michigan State University. She put this knowledge to work, first cultivating grapes in her native soil of Northern Michigan, then moving to Napa Valley, California. While in the Napa Valley she worked with such prestigious wineries as Frog's Leap, Rudd and Far Niente. Before long, the beauty of the Grand Traverse area called her home again, where she continues to make the most of her extensive wine knowledge.
Nick and Kasey's expertise and interests, together, are ideally suited for hosting wine bicycle tours in the Grand Traverse area. When they are not busy chasing their son Liam around on his own bike, they hope to see you on one too.
