Shady Lane Snowshoe Vineyard Tour and Tasting
February 24 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Join Shady Lane for a Snowshoe adventure to explore our vineyard and learn about Shady Lane Cellar's vineyard practices and how they translate to our handcrafted wines. Following the tour you'll be treated to a hosted tasting accompanied by a selection of cheeses and snacks. Suttons Bay Bikes will have staff on-hand to rent snowshoes for only $15! There are 4 dates available but space is limited! Must be 21 years of age to attend. |

This winter, we invite you to experience Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay in all of it's seasonal splendor.
We will be offering on-site snowshoe rentals at the winery every Saturday from 12 pm - 4 pm between January 6 - February 24. This is your chance to take in the woods, orchards and vineyards at this iconic estate while beautifully blanketed in snow.
Explore the easy to moderate trails then warm up with a glass of mulled wine on the heated Terrace Patio.
New this year, the Hearth & Vine Café will be providing beef and bean chili, white chicken chili and a featured grilled sandwich to fill your bellies after all your hard work! Round out your excursion with a tasting featuring our award winning wines, ciders and spirits. This is your chance to take in the woods, orchards and vineyards on our iconic estate while beautifully blanketed in snow.
We will be offering this fun, adventurous event through winter beginning Christmas week, weather permitting. No reservations needed, just stop by during the available dates and times below!

Fat Tuesdays at 45 North Vineyard and Winery

Suttons Bay Bikes is bringing the fat tire rental fleet out to 45 North Vineyard and Winery for recurring drop-in rides on the groomed 45 North Recreational Trail. This is a 3 mile loop trail perfect for all riders and the newly initiated to this amazingly fun winter sport!
45 North Vineyard and Winery will be open to riders from 5 - 8 PM and offering a $5 pint of cider & bowl of soup special. Warm up by the fire and enjoy the winter season in beautiful Leelanau County.
Our group ride starts at 6:00 p.m. however you are free to show up at any time and enjoy the trail. XC skiers are welcome too! You are encouraged to bring your own fat tire bike or rent ours for FREE! Helmets & lights included. The rental period is for 1 hour, and you must call Suttons Bay Bikes at (231) 421-6815 ahead of time to reserve. We have a limited number of fat bikes.
