There is no better way to experience the wineries
Grand Traverse Bike Tours is a full-service bike tour company located in the heart of Leelanau Wine Country, just minutes from Traverse City. Our mission is helping visitors to explore the unique beauty and distinct flavors of the Grand Traverse area.
We offer a selection of packages ranging from single day winery tours to self-guided tours and basic bicycle rentals. Experience one of our tours in the company of an expert guide or go on your own with a fully supported self-guided tour.
The Grand Traverse area has been called the Napa Valley of the Midwest for good reason. Picture this; more than 25 local wineries surrounded by vibrant vineyards, time-worn orchards, and Michigan's lovely native woods. Views of the sparkling Grand Traverse Bay shimmer to the horizon and all of this is accessible through an abundance of bicycle friendly roads and paths. Taste the area's best wines, stop by a local farm-stand to pick up fresh fruit and enjoy a gourmet picnic at a vineyard overlook. Make your Northern Michigan memory on two wheels!
Leelanau Wine Trail Bike Tour
Join us for a truly unique wine county experience. Ride down the paved Leelanau Trail on our hybrid touring bikes making stops along the way to boutique wineries. We will deliver a picnic lunch to be enjoyed vineyard-side and pick up your wine at the end of the day, making for a carefree adventure by bicycle!
