Sips & Snowshoes! - NEW DATE January 26th
A Guided Vineyard snowshoe

Join us at Shady Lane Winery for a winter snowshoe adventure! We head out into the vines lead by one of our experienced guides to explore Shady Lane's Vineyards. Along the hike we will stop to warm up with Mulled wine and campfire in the vineyards. Then we continue our hike through the vines around the loop back to the winery to enjoy s'mores and tastes of Shady Lane's award winning wines.

The hike is about 1.5 miles on rolling terrain. Our friendly guides ensure that you are able to relax while adventuring with family and friends! ​

Trip Details:
  • Please plan to arrive around 2:45pm for the 3pm tour start.
  • Tour will begin at Shady Lane Cellars, and tour participants should park at 9580 E Shady Ln, Suttons Bay, MI 49682​
  • Please dress in warm layers (wool bases, wind/waterproof outer layers) and wear warm winter boots, gloves, and hats. Tour participants should expect to spend about 1.5 hours outside in winter weather conditions.​
  • Tastings are not included, average $7-$10 
Tour Participant Policy
All reservations must be made for participants ages 21 or older. ID verification will be required for all tour guests.

Cancellation Policy
Full pre-payment required to confirm your reservation. Cancellations made 48 hours before the start of the tour are allowed for a full refund. Cancellations made during the 48 hrs before the tour are subject to a $5/person admin fee, weather related exceptions are allowed, see below.

Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather which may result in unsafe driving conditions for tour guests, the tour will be cancelled, and participants will be issued a full refund. Also, if there is not enough snow to tour, the tour will be cancelled. Please note the tour follows a trail that gets much more snow than in Traverse City. The trail often has snow when other parts of town do not. Participants will be notified by email if there should be a cancellation.
