Old Mission Peninsula Bike Tour

The distinctive beauty of the Old Mission Peninsula is apparent from the seat of a bicycle. The vineyards and wineries are embraced by two large bays on each side, creating an exceptional wine growing environment. As you pedal past rows of vineyards and orchards, you’ll enjoy the natural beauty that simply cannot be achieved from inside a car.

A local Tour Guide with wine country knowledge, will lead you on backroads to our favorite wineries and farms.  Your tour group will enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch overlooking the vineyards.

We cycle at a casual pace, using bikes as our vehicles to explore the best of Leelanau Wine Country. If it's been awhile since you last rode a bike, your tour guide will ensure that you are comfortable and happy throughout the day.

With a casual pace and frequent stops, the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering boutique and family-owned wineries along the way. On our tours, you’ll cycle an average of 4-6 miles between each winery visit. The terrain is flat with rolling hills.

Terrain: Mostly flat with a few rolling hills. All cycling on this tour is on paved roads.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Full advanced payment is required for all reservations of 8 people or fewer.  For groups  of 9 or more a 25% deposit is required for booking.  In order to cancel a reservation and receive a full refund, you must contact us no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the tour.

Cancellations made after the 48 hour mark but before the close of the business day prior, will incur a $25 per person penalty deducted from the refund. Cancellations will not be accepted at all after 5 p.m. the day before the tour (you will be charged the full tour price).

We tour rain or shine. 
On days with light/intermittent rain, we provide rain jackets to keep you dry and comfortable. In the event of heavy rain, your guided bike tour may be converted to a chauffered van tour, and your Tour Guide will go out of his way to visit special wineries that we wouldn't have been able to visit by bike.
